AI Use and AI-Assisted Content Policy

Grand Asian Journal of Computing and Emerging Technologies (GJCET) recognizes the growing role of artificial intelligence (AI) tools in research and manuscript preparation across computing and emerging technologies. AI tools may be used to assist with language refinement, formatting, or literature searches, provided the author verifies and takes full responsibility for the accuracy and originality of the final content. AI must not be used to fabricate, falsify, or manipulate data, results, or references (including citing non-existent sources). Authors are responsible for ensuring AI-assisted content does not infringe copyright or constitute plagiarism.

Authors must disclose any use of AI tools in the research or manuscript preparation process, including but not limited to:

  • Drafting or editing text (e.g., language polishing, grammar correction, structuring)
  • Generating or analyzing data
  • Generating or assisting with source code, algorithms, or models
  • Creating figures, images, or graphical content
  • Conducting literature searches or summarization

Editors' Responsibilities

Editors reserve the right to request clarification or evidence regarding the use of AI tools in a submitted manuscript. Manuscripts found to contain undisclosed or inappropriate use of AI, including fabricated content or citations, may be rejected, or subject to correction/retraction if discovered post-publication, in accordance with GJCET's ethics and retraction policy.
